So the middle of wedding season is possibly one of the more stupid times to arrange a styled shoot for a collection of top Wellington wedding vendors, but I have a theory that if you want something done, you ask a busy person. Or about 20 busy people in this case.
This Easter weekend just been, I helped to pull together a completely colossal collaborative wedding shoot at Pinehaven Orchards in Greytown.
The inspiration for this shoot started when I spotted the gorgeous Watters tea length gown from Paperswan Bride. I knew instantly that we could create an incredible mid-century inspired shoot featuring my dream wedding dress! I didn’t get much further than thinking “um maybe sorta like 50s?” in terms of the styling when I started talking to the incredible Mindy from Twig & Arrow – even with such scanty genesis Mindy’s wildly creative stylists mind went spiralling into stratospheres I had never considered and the idea developed into an autumn elopement picnic in the orchard.
A bazillion incredible vendors joined in on this shoot to make it completely inspiring – I hope you enjoy it.
