Photographing little Asa was quite the privilege, as his beautiful Mama is an extremely talented (international) photographer (of mystery) herself.

Asa was a little older than most at his newborn portrait session so he was wide awake and bright eyed for the photos, which I personally LOVE. The eyes are the window to the soul after all, although it does make posing a bit impossible. As Mama can create beautiful photos herself, I wanted to focus on getting plenty of photos of the whole family together, and especially mum with bubs.

I love to create a mixture of posed and crafted images as well as my favourite, natural documentary/lifestyle type images that offer a glimpse into what life with a new baby is (sometimes) like.
