Louisa’s Nana and Pops came all the way from England to visit her for New Years. They were surprised with a Christmas gift voucher for beautiful family portraits with their adored granddaughter – what better present could there be!
Lou-Lou is a very serious 15 month old dolly who proved to be rather a tough nut to crack. She wasn’t very impressed by the five maniac adults bouncing around with nappies on our heads, whistling, mooing, singing, and acting like complete loonies for her amusement. But the few beautiful little grins that did pop out, were all the more adorable because she made us work for them!
Even though the session was purchased for Nana and Pops and Louisa, I pushed Mum and Dad into getting into a few snaps too, and I’m so glad I did! I couldn’t have asked for a more fun, loving, gorgeous family to spend time with on a gloriously un-Wellington-like sunny, windless day. Better still, my recommendation for gorgeous Brooklyn Central Park (my location crush) was accepted with open arms! Love that place. The perfect recipe, for perfect family portraits!
